Advice on cheapest options for potential client

I have gone to have a quick look at something the compressor has gone in a 10kw cassette system it's a daikin it's an older model and it's 410A now the price of the gas now is ridiculous so I'm debating whether it's worth trying to replace the whole outdoor unit instead of the compressor and the inverter board or get a multisplit system and 2 wall mounted units its in a newsagents but it's about 60 sq meters hence thr 10kw cassette in the middle of it.

Where is a good place to order systems at a reasonable price.

And also has anyone used euro refrigerants.com as they sell 410A for about 400 euros and deliver to the UK and also do refill service. Alot cheaper than UK prices. Unsure of quality though cannot seem to find any reviews. Thanks for the help guys and girls.

Euro refrigerants as far as i can tell are legit, i think they require your fgas or refcom cert to supply. From what i can see all the wholesalers are carrying splits, Logicool, FSW, Hawco etc, customer is going to pay more for a new install but you could sweeten it with extended warranty also if you can, confirm why original compressor went, check the install carefully if you're planning on reusing pipe work, and confirm unit was sized correctly.

I doubt he will go for it in the end as the cheapest multi split for the room size I can find is 2k alone for a 60m sq room. The only really cheap ones are units I wouldn't touch as no ones heard of. One called electric iq has 2 12000 btu indoor units and a 24000 capable outdoor for under a grand. No way on earth will it work when it's half the price of one of the known cheaper brands haha.

What are some cheaper air conditioners that work like budget ones then I can offer to option of something like a toshiba or mitsubishi or something a bit cheap that still does the job.

    .

Ben you have a problem that all good engineers have to face.

You want the work and you know the customer doesn't want to pay
so you try your best to find a compromise that results in you getting
    the work.

You also have to protect your name, you could install a cheap system
and for a while the customer might get what he thinks he wants but
what happens when it fails and proves to be a load of crap.

Or you can stand your ground, give a quote for a system that
will be reliable, guaranteed and long term value for money.

You might not get the job and the customer might get the work
    from someone else.

Hard decision and it's you alone who can decide what is more important
    to you.
