Is there any control that counts compressor-starts/day and gives alarms when needed???

I believe any programmable counter or programmable control will do the job.

What other alarms you need to monitor with a counter?

i wished a simple eliwell idplus961 could do the job but it can't. but I don't know of Dixell and Carel ; do you know?
I think 'compressorstarts per day alarm' will help prevent compressor failure and will help me be in time before temperature will drop

    Re: compressor starts/day

Most controllers will, I believe, provide a starts per hour facility which is what most manufacturers inform on.

Or sometimes there will be a minimum run time to ensure compressor cooling has taken place.

If you think that the compressor is starting too often then perhaps there is something wrong with the system.

there is a parameter DBI to delay the start after cooling demand, you can always set it for for up to 250 min to protect the compressor.
