Hi Ozzie.
Which Grasslin controller do you have?

Does it have a Defrost Termination Stat fitted?
The controller may mention terminals for this?

Does it have a pump down , drain down and fan delay with the defrost or is it a basic timer?
It's just 10 min defrost sounds as if the could be a conflict in the timings.
6 defrosts at 10 mins just does not sound right to me.
Try extending the defrost interval to 20mins and reducing to 4 defrosts (6hrs).

I cannot believe 10 min defrosts are doing anything!
Other than maybe conflicting with other defrost settings.

I always start with the minimum number I feel I can get away with.
Without more info it is hard to second guess this one.
But as we are all saying so far, its either electrical or electro mechanical.
