Daikin FTX25K2V1B - Cancel auto restart

    Hi all,

Anyone know how to cancel auto-restart function on this model? Went through the service manual but could not find anything.

Assuming the field settings are the same across the range, the info I've got for older models is field setting 22-5-02 is factory setting, 22-5-01 to disable it. Might not be the way but the only info I've got, be worth a try.

    Cheers,
    Andy.

Thanks Andy. Can this be done with the infra-red remote or would I need a wired controller?

Looks like that model does not allow changing of that function.

Is there a reason why you want to disable it?

The unit is installed in a rented room. Its power supply is switched off whenever the door is opened. But if you leave the room and close the door, power is restored and it will start again.

You could do the start/stop on the door opening by adding a krp board instead of dropping mains power.
Every time you drop mains power you disable the crankcase heater function.
