    Operating Theatres

    Hi

It has been about 15 years since we installed A/C in an operating theatre.

    Thanks Nick

    Re: Operating Theatres

I've only done one for a local hospital and we just worked to the hospital spec, which was very rigid, i.e. Stainless steel air handling unit, hepa filters, pressure relief valves in the theatre walls (positive pressure in the room) etc.

Can't say I've ever read any standard specs though, only the local hospital requirements.

Is there an equivalent classification for this when compared to a cleanroom? There are some standards for these where you can reference the requirements.

    Hi,

Before 15-16 years I was on specialisation course for medical gases in UK (BOC-Ohmeda), learned a lot but working mostly in refrigeration forget almost all

I have some documentation but it is too old and not useful today

    Here are some links:

Hope you can find some useful info,

    Best regards,
