SRM Tec Semi Hermetic screws compressor for NH3

    Hi engineers around the globe.......
Someone already experience with the SRM screw compressors from Fujian Snowman, looking for the SRS semi-hermetic compound two-stage screw compressor as it has some benefits opposite other screw compressor suppliers special regarding COP & maintenance costs.
Looking for a new NH3 application to the SRS-16L (one stage) or SRS-16LS (two stage), but a bit afraid of this "new" brand opposite the main screw pack suppliers like Mycom and Sabroe.

See below some details for the compressors :

    Single stage hermetic type :
    http://www.snowkey.com/en/index.php/.../detail/id/127

    Two stage hermetic type :

Thanks your comments to have at least some feedback from the field

    Hi.
Your posts so far concern me.
Because all you are doing is asking members to rate various manufacturers equipment.
Which is not what this forum is about.
4 posts all asking for opinions on various pieces of equipment.
What do you actually do for a living?
We are here to help each other not carry out feasibility studies.

Hi Grizzly, appreciate your comment on my questions but that's really not my mission.
I not ask the forum to rate manufacturers, but ask some practical field experience from my colleagues around the world before start using some unknown products (often enough was the guinea pig....).
In case we discover any problems i ask some help for alternatives if local suppliers can't help me out.
From my opinion these questions are helpful for all of us, but in case you think different about that as moderator then I'm possibly in the wrong forum here.

I'm a technical refrigerant engineer by the way

    Hi Matje.
Thank you for your honest reply.
The problem is when you ask "Us" to as you put it give some practical field experience.

You are still asking whether there has been any issues or what "experience's" we have had.

    It's all open to abuse!
    Hence my comment.
I as an Refrigeration Engineer also have that which I know and like.
But conversely I feel that for me to comment adversely is unfair.
So you are asking if there are any of us that have issues with the various equipment mentioned in your posts.
So as you put it you can seek alternatives.
That is not as I said what we are all about.
You are on the wrong forum with these type of questions.
Help where you can and your input will be appreciated.
Encourage debate by all means but Is this equipment good or bad is not helpful at all!
People work for these companies and they contribute.

    Matje,
I only have experience with open drive, but no problems.
Product was developed by SRM Sweden which Fujian Snowman own major share now.
They also make Refcomp in China.
The product compressors & package seems high quality, but expect it to be much cheaper than other brands.
