big TD chiller issue etc
HI sirs
For saving energy,big TD chiller/AHU/Air supplier system is coming up.
# Big TD AHU is said to save pump power for water flow reduction but need bigger air cooling coil;
#Big TD air supplier can save fan power same as above;
#Big TD chiller,i can't see its advantage but i've heard some one researched it.
What do you think about it?
regards
LC

Can you suggest what a high TD might be for a chiller?

Oh, high delta T. I see.
Well been there, done that.
Tha main reason for that is to save money on the pump, but that's an installer or consultant problem. Anything else remains the same.
In order to save money on the coils, a lower delta T, not higher, must be used.
