Refrigerant Charge for Renault Megane Cabriolet
Hi Guys.
Can anyone advise me of the correct charge for the above Vehicle.
The A/c in my wife's car (Recently purchased) has little charge left in it.
I doubt anyone ever ran the A/C given that it is a convertible.
I would like to reinstate the system.
Cheers Grizzly.

Re: Refrigerant Charge for Renault Megane Cabriolet
Mk 11 2002 to 2010 550 grams plus or minus 35 grams hs port only on suction line
Mk 3 2008 on 480 grams plus minus 35 grams all 150 oil low port os wing hs port behind os headlight
No plug in scanner required if unit been empty for some time put keys in ignit ion till lights come on dash and press ac button and recirc together for five seconds this resets fault codes
If ac still won't run the wire rubs under bulkhead on front panel if it won't hold hp test or loses pressure on os wing by headlight is a suction accumulator the seals are prone to failure you can sea it from under bonnet there only other issue is condensor fans fail as resistor for fan fail it's a big fan motor ta charlieLast edited by Grizzly; 03-07-2017 at 10:50 PM.

Thanks Charlie.
You are a Gem!
I actually recharged the car yesterday having pulled a deep vacuum first and having spun the comp to ensure a wet seal.
All seems to be working well,
I will copy and paste your post all the same just in Case.
Cheers once again.
Rep point added.
