How to determine cooling capacity and under-sized or over-sized?

Hi there, I'm new in this industry and I would like to seek some helps from you guys.

    1) How would you guys determine what is the amount of cooling capacity that this indoor unit is currently produced?

    2) How would you determine whether this air-conditioner installed is under-sized or over-sizing?

Looking forward for your kind reply.

    Thanks.

Measure the space, calculate the heat load, that's what is generally done, seemples.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I was wondering is there such way like, for example, imagine a wall mounted indoor unit, by measuring its airflow, return temperature and supply temperature, I can simply calculated the cooling capacity currently its produced? Thanks.

    .

Not with air on and air off alone.

You would need to plot the cycle on a Ph chart and
then calculate the loads from that.

To find the load for a new room you need to know
heat loads from outside, heat loads from inside and
also things like lights and door openings need to be
    considered.

The only true way to now how much a working system
is actually doing is to plot and calculate from a Ph chart.

    Regards

    Rob
