Multi-Split minimum pipe run.
Hi all,
I'm about to put in a Fujitsu 6.8kw R410a multi split system with 2.5kw and 5kw wall unit.
In the specs it says minimum pipe run is 15m!!
i'm going to end up with 8m total, 4m each to each head.
As this systems is pre charged for 30m would it mean a shorter pipe run will result in the system being overcharged?

Re: Multi-Split minimum pipe run.
so, after contacting Fujitsu technical i was told it says 15m minimum as it is a 3 head system, minimum is 5m per head so 15m total.
I'm only putting two heads on so 5m per head.
One will be under 5 so I've been told to coil the pipe up behind the outdoor unit! Not happy but i suggested emptying the condenser and weighing back in the new amount but he said no.
My second head i have the opportunity to move the indoor unit further away.

Re: Multi-Split minimum pipe run.
Seen with 12kW systems on a very short pipe run the pulsating from the compressor gets transmitted through the pipes and makes a racket. Longer run it doesn't happen so perhaps that is the reason?
Health and safety first..........unless I'm in a hurry.
