GEA Grasso Screw compressors
Hello everyone,
I am very happy to be part of this group.
I need the manuals with disassembly and assembly procedures that have the measures of adjusting the bearing clearances and the measures of the ropes of the rotors and bearings with the tolerances of the GEA Grasso compressors.
Models: XCR-XC26B-28 and YR-Y26S-28.
Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
I extend to everyone.

Re: GEA Grasso Screw compressors
Souza,
Thanks for Mycom offer.
The Vi plates that screw into discharge housing also guide slide valve radially.
Pay attention to this as they can wear in some machines causing slide valve to come in contact with rotors.
Housings need special tool for aligning housings in dowel holes.
It is an expansion dowel that lines up housings, they do not have steel dowel pins like Mycom etc.
In our region they will lend or hire them when you buy parts, hopefully you can arrange this.
Parts very expensive for these machines, main bearings not normally replaced, usually pretty good.
Good luckLast edited by RANGER1; 13-06-2017 at 11:26 AM.
