    Sabroe CMO28 mk2 comp unloaders

    Hi
Im new to the forum but already read and found some interesting stuff.

Im currently doing a full overhaul of the above compressor, simple enough until its gets to replacing the seals in the unloader assembly its a nightmare trying to get them together without damaging the new seals. As any member come across this problem and found a solution. Sabroe will build them up for a price

Re: Sabroe CMO28 mk2 comp unloaders

    Hi Gengus and welcome

The unloaders I am used to are in their big brother the SMC and are just a metal piston ring.

If I catch you right the seal in the unloader in a rubber type seal much like a hydralic cylinder.

In the past with these seals I have used a pipe reducer, and pushed the seal up this and unto the piston, cutting down the reducer to suit the OD that the seal has to go over.

    Kind Regards. Andy
If you can't fix it leave it that no one else will:rolleyes:
