Does the compressor run? If so run it in cooling mode and attach your bottle to the liquid line.Use your scales to check how much comes out. When you can't get anymore out, switch off and use your reclaim machine on all sides.

Re: How to recover from a VRV properly
I would be careful about recovery with the compressor running, because of lubrication to the compressor, eventually the motor will overheat, but in any event as it's a VRV the LP trip should shut off.

Re: How to recover from a VRV properly
The correct method is to put the machine into recovery mode using the dip switches on the outdoor pcb. This sets all the indoor tev's to the fully open position then you can recover as normal.
Read the instructions on the inside of the outdoor cover panel.
