    I agree with you IM.
People don't even have to put half the info that we all did.
I think all these crap posts have done for Brian.
He was desperate for Dez to answer.
Not sure what options are available.
But a spurious random set of letters seems to be the log in favourite.
Why do people not have to supply an email address anymore?
Or have I got it wrong.

    Hi Grizzly
The only option to us Mods is to select the post (top right hand pick box) and then scroll down to Moderations tools at the bottom and select 'Delete the post as Spam'

Apparently, this is supposed to flag the IP address used and prevent any further posts but I have my doubts

Sadly most forum sites get this sort of crap, nature of the beast I guess to say I am disillusioned is an understatement but I try to help the best I can do I get the same treatment to be honest no,my account has somehow been hacked and as much as I try I still see posts that have not been authorised /started by me ? You know who you are and the day of reckoning is on the horizon legally!

If any other legit members have any ideas, it would be good to get your opinions.

I looked around and found that he has made the same exact posts on numerous forums.
I have no idea what joy he finds in this.
Ignore him and maybe he will go away?

    Good sound advise NH3.
Even better if no-one even opens the posts.
    They become irrelevant then.

Guess it needs tighter policing which is a shame really. More work for the mods so easy for me to say but can the site be set up so that new members can't post links and their posts have to be approved by a mod before showing up? After a few posts then normal rules could apply.
Think this sort of stuff had been mentioned before by the wise install monkey so can't take the glory but perhaps the programming for the forum doesn't have this function and it'll need a major overhaul to get it to work this way?

Anyway, whatever happens, the work the mods do in their own unpaid time had not gone unnoticed. Good work fella's.
