    ask for related chiller standard

    Hi Sirs
We'll deliver two chillers (evaporative condenser/ PHE evaporator/ Copland scroll compressor)to USA. I want to know the related American standard to cover this kind of product. Is it mandatory to get UL licence to export to America? I'm looking forward to the information!

    thanks in advance

    regards
    LC

Re: ask for related chiller standard

    HI LC,

Here is a link to the normally used standards for this purpose. The link has a listing of those standards which are commonly referenced by the US manufacturers.

    http://www.ari.org/std/standards.html

The UL certification may be required by the purchasers insurance carrier. I know from past experience most of the electrical control panels were requested to be UL certified.

Perhaps the UL labs or customer service can answer some questions for you also.
