    EU Safe Handling Legislation

So our Governments (EU) must agree the safe handling qualifications for refrigerants by the end of this year.

So far all I hear is that we will adopt the Dutch standard competency qualification. The legislation seems vague on when exactly it becomes law but 2002 seems to be the year.

Any one knows what it is or has an English syllabus. Dutch would be OK as we have family there but it cost me a fortune in Shreddies and pork scratchings.

Each member state had to submit the proposed minimum qualification to the Government before 31 December 2001.

Now it up to the government to make a decision.
