    Re: explosion in Greece

Greece’s Labor Inspectorate is investigating how the 38-year-old woman who was killed after a powerful explosion occurred at a fast food store in Athens.
According to the investigations a fire appears to have broken out moments before the explosion, with witness reports noting that a technician came running out of the basement and urging everyone to leave. It remains to be determined whether the technician was aware that Parastatidou, 38, was in the basement at the time.
Parastatidou worked for the fast-food chain as an accountant. Prior to the explosion a technician was carrying out maintenance work in the basement of the store. Fire Brigade officials believe that the explosion was caused by a gas leak. The store did not use natural gas or propane tanks and the technician was operating near the refrigerators, suggesting that a ***** leak - a cooling agent used in most refrigeration systems - may have been the cause.
Parastatidou was killed and five others were injured after a powerful explosion occurred at a fast food store of the “Everest” chain located on Victorias Square, in Athens, Thursday just before 9:30 am. The body of the woman, who was the accountant at the store was recovered by fire fighters from the basement where she was reportedly trapped after the blast.

May have been a large chiller full of R290, must have been a heck of a lot as I saw a video of a propane tank valve coming off inside a kitchen and there was just a huge fire and not much of an explosion.
