Hand Expansion v/v Placement
Is it more of a benefit to place a hand expansion v/v closer to a DX coil? We have ceiling mount coils in the cold room and the v/v groups are on the roof which gives us about a 5 meter vertical drop from the existing hand expansion v/v to the coil. Was wondering if we would get better performance flashing the liquid going into the coil if they where placed at the coil instead of on the roof?

Re: Hand Expansion v/v Placement
A little bit confused on your question.
When you say you have a DX coil with a hand expansion valve do you mean a pump recirculated coil or a coil controlled strictly by a HE valve or ?.
