    Fujitsu Cassette problem

    Hi Guys,

I have a Fujitsu cassette A/C with an issue.
    Model: Indoor AUT30RLD-W Outdoor AOT30RMBL
When the unit is turned on it runs fine for 10-20 mins cooling good.
Indoor fan runs fine, the compressor and fan in the condenser come on and run as well.
    The filter is clean etc.
After the 10-20 mins of fine operation the LCD wall control faults out with EE:EE.

My question is: How to retrieve the fault code from this model, and the relevant fault codes.

    Many Thanks,
    Keza

    To Interrogate
When E:EE is displayed switch unit off and press the temp up and temp down
    buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

    Re: Fujitsu Cassette problem

Don't switch the power off or you will lose the error code...just switch the unit to Off on the controller

could be a condensate pump problem.

    Re: Fujitsu Cassette problem

    Hi guys,
    Thanks for all answers

    Just an update.
Got the error code- E:00- Communication error between indoor unit and controller.
I called Fujitsu tech support got thier test sheet emailed to me.
Checked for 12v dc between 1 and 3 terminal on wall controller= yes
Checked for fluctuating 7v-12vdc between terminal 3 and terminal 2 on the wall controller with the cable from the indoor unit disconnected from terminal 2= yes
Checked for fluctuating 7v-12vdc between terminal 3 and the disconnected wire from the indoor unit from terminal 2= No
This brings my attention to the indoor unit.
Checked condensate pump, tested for a circuit through its plug as advised by fujitsu.
    Checked fan motor windings
Checked thermistors to have no open circuits.
    Checked fan capacitor
My final conclusion is that it's an intermittent fault with the indoor control board.
The unit runs fine for 10-20 mins then faults out.
The cable to the controller is also shielded and earthed at the indoor unit.

    Such a tricky fault.

Let me know your thoughts guys.

    Cheers,
    Kez

    Update:
Got the go-ahead from the client to replace the indoor control board. Unit now working like a dream.
