    Hitecsa txv?

Hi this is my first post and have been working on a system I am not familiar with at all. The system is running ok in heating but when switching over to cooling it then suddenly goes into vac and cuts out within seconds. 4 way valve has been changed and the only thing that I can see which looks like it could be a TXV is this picture attached any help or advice much appreciated

This is not a TXV. Its a pressure control.

Thank you, I thought as much just wanted to make sure as could not find a TXV anywhere on the system so had to second guess. Any ideas why it is going into vac once in cooling? Cheers

Cooling expansion valve is most likely blocked, track your liquid line to the evaporator, maybe it is a piston type which will look like a flare nut?

Get a service manual from the manufacturers so that you can identify the circuit parts.

I've looked for info everywhere on the web but with them being Spanish it's impossible to read and can't find anything associated with the model and with it being at least ten years old don't think I'll have much look

Try CDL in Warrington or Hushon. We have bought Hitecsa from both in the past. They may be able to help. I have a couple of manuals in pdf. Ping me your email and i'll send them to you.
Can't see much having changed over 10 years as they are quite prehistoric.

    Cheers
