For the last 24 hours our Liebherr fridge/freezer (CN3866) has disabled the illuminated fridge temperature and substituted a flashing "F2" symbol. The freezer illuminated temperature remains unchanged.

I understand that this "F2" symbol indicates that there is a problem in the refrigerator evaporator sensor area. However, having monitored the temperatures in both the fridge and freezer for that 24 hour period, they are clearly both showing the normal temperatures (+5 & -18).

Can I take it that this indicates that there is no fault with the evaporator sensor and that the problem lies elsewhere or is it more likely to be an early indication that this sensor is imminently about to pack up?
