Qualitair cellar cooler

Went to a qualitair cellar cooler that has a 1 min timer delay for the solenoid and a 3 min for the compressor and condenser fan runs thru a pressure switch that had failed so I wired the fan thru the mains so it runs all the time.
The customer has said he doesn't like this and now wants a new pressure switch.
My question is could I just wire the fan in sequence with the solenoid so it turns on 2 mins before compressor as this would save me few hours work.

I would do what the customer wants and charge him,an option maybe to fit a elliwell type of controller with a wide range of adjustable parameters like a 974 ,not much wiring changes needed.
