    Carters Widget?

From a while back but found it interesting. Anybody know if it ended up being something?

Yer, was an interesting idea. Was curious to see if mad fridgie had went any further with it.

    Re: Carters Widget?

Well a completed test rig was built, a R&D variable widget was made! I got a repeatable 18 % net increase in refrigeration performance with no increase in power. Computer modelling was being undertaken by other who are far more knowledgeable than me into theories that would make a rocket scientists head hurt . Then my personal life took priority.
Life has its ups and down.
I did contact a major component supplier, but to early in development, and/or lack of foresight.
It is now sat in my garage gathering dust. Reminding of the 100,000s dollars spent.
    The concept certainly worked!

    Thanks Mad Fridgie.

In the old thread you had talked about how you had been getting unrepeatable lows and highs in performance tests, did you get any further with finding out what had been happening to give this or did you go straight into a sort of trial and error method to find out the best set up on your R&D widget?
