    Daikin 1,2,3

Did something stupid today wired up a tank pump live and neutral to an old daikin r407 unit only to find that lead number 2 on this particular unit was the comms and 3 was the neutral I soon worked this out after the u4 came on the controller so sorted it out and the unit ran fine with no issues so cut a long story short I had to leave site without checking the pump.could I of blown anything in the pump by putting the the neutral of the pump in the comms cable?

Sorry that was a typo I fitted an aspen hi lift tank pump and put the neutral in the comms cable I think it is 24v dc and I don't know what it would do to the pump it has a 5amp fuse

wouldnt do owt to the pump- but sending mains voltage back down the comms line will blow the 3amp fuse on the outdoor pcb, and occasionally zap the board- old daikin/panasonic 407c kit was 1 live 2 signal 3 neutral- new 410 kit 1 live 2 neutral 3 signal- top tip old daikin siesta early stuff was 6 core interconnect- 1 live 4 neutral- 3 gives a neutral until the pot starts

As long as you didn't leave it for hours all your boards will be fine. You would have a u4/uf fault
