    Hey fellow Techs,
    Was given a 2000 new flyer with a tk x430 compressor to repair
    . Compressor needs replacement but only x 426 compressor available. replace only with tk x 430 or can i use the x426 and whats the issues that i have to deal with.? Please assist ,

    Long time ago bigger crank was main difference I believe keep it very clean prime the shells well and lock tight the front bolts and when it's all running make sure you have no vibration from elsewhere I'm sure that was main difference

    Thanks, But please explain "prime the shell" are u referring to the oil charge?

    Line the shells with oil prime the oil pump so soon as it fires up there is oil head washers different to and displacement so if ur running on the limit u will be in trouble we used to rip out 26 and fit the 30 and that was in sunny devon always sunnier in Devon than cornwall just in case any tourists reading this
