    Daikin RMX140JVMC8

    Hi All,

Having some dramas with the above unit.

Recently we replaced the compressor and inverter control board due to a compressor failure and it damaging the board.

After replacing these items we've had different faults popping up each day and further boards and components failing. Daikin tech just keep advising changing parts all the time buts its getting ridiculous now.

We've replace the active module, control board twice, compressor, condenser fans, condenser fan board and communication board.

The unit has 3 indoor units connected through a BP.

The various faults we see on the unit are LC, L6, U4. We replace another part, runs for 24 hours and then blows something else.

Any help with this would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

    Rick

    Radlam,

    Hello.

My guess would be going back to basics.

    Check all incoming phases.
(If its single phase) Check the Neutral and power in isolator connections etc etc.

Could it be possible the compressor terminals could be incorrectly wired by an engineer?

Those faults when we come cross them point at power supply or dodgy wiring.

It may be worth disconnecting the compressor run it and see what happens. (Does outdoor fan sequence start)
