    Frascold SA20-71

    Hi All

Has anyone got any information on a Frascold condensing unit, MODEL NO. SA20-71? Compressor is a V20-71. Can't find anything on it, tried hubbard and all my usual source's with no joy. It is quite a old unit.

    Regards

    Re: Frascold SA20-71

As far as i can tell from the info i have V is the body size, 20 is the HP of the motor and 71 is the displacement.
My Dean and Wood book only shows a SA15 71V and a SA25 71V, theres no 20hp model.

    The 15hp model on R404A is rated 22.8kw at -15c to 6.1kw at -45c
    The 25hp model on R404A is rated 50.5kw at 7.5c to 15kw at -30c

So yours looks to be a medium to low temp compressor.
Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)
