    Danfoss EKC 202D1 temperature settings

I need some help on this danfoss EKC 202D1.

Its controlling a small freezer unit

    The set-point temperature is -18º

The R1 seting is diferential is 2

The R2 setting is max limitation of setpoint -16.5º

The R3 setting is min limitation of setpoint -18º

But the freezer is getting temperatures of -30ºc

its just too much cold i don't know what to do to make the temperature stay in the correct interval.

    Where is the manual
    http://www.ra.danfoss.com/TechnicalI...EKC202_302.pdf

    Hi,

Is the snowflake symbol lit when unit is too cold (indicating controller/set up error) or snowflake symbol off but unit still cooling meaning output relay stuck on, wiring error, solenoid valve passing, etc?

C30 set to on so relay acts inversely?
C01 min on time set to 30 mins so over running after setpoint reached?

    Cheers,
    Andy.

Re: Danfoss EKC 202D1 temperature settings

The snowflake is blinking, but i have other freezers that are blinking too and no problems.

I change the controller from one freezer to another one, to rule out problems on the freezer, and the problem is in the controller.

I copy the parameters from other controller to this one, but noting has change.

    All the R codes :

    R1 : 2
    R2 : -16.5
    R3: -18
    R4: 00
    R5 Cº
    R9 0
    R10 0
    R12 001
    r13 000
    R15 000
    r39 off
    r40 000

    U codes

    U 09 -37.4
    u10 off
    u12 - 32.5
    u13 off
u16 120 (not on danfoss documents)
    u17 -32.8
    u28 -18
    u37 off
    u56 -32.5
    u57 -32.8
    u58 off
    u59 on
    u60 off
    u81 off

I film all the menu settings, maybe someone whith more experience can see what im doing wrong.

    Hi
Have you checked that you have the correct sensor type fitted . These controllers can use pt 1000 , off and ntc sensors which is parameter o06 , but check the sensor type itself as it may be the wrong type is the pt1000 is 1000ohms at 0 degC and the Ptc is 1000ohms at 25 deg C

The sensor is correct, i change the other controller whit other freezer and the problem goes with the controller

I went to the store and got a new one and the problem is solved.
