Trane air cooled chiller
Can anyone tell me what the error code 33 is on the vfd for the condenser fans on trane chillers please (model rtad 145), this is showing on both circuits and after re setting on vfd it runs for short period and brings fault back on vfd display, all fans running on circuit 1 and i have 5/6 running on circuit 2.
Any help would be great guys

Re: Trane air cooled chiller
HI Steve.
Details as within the Manual.
WARNING 33: Out of frequency range
This warning is active if the output frequency has reached Output
frequency low limit (parameter 201) or Output frequency high limit
(parameter 202). If the frequency converter is in Process regulation,
closed loop (parameter 100) the warning will be active in the display. If
the frequency converter is in another mode than Process regulation ,
closed loop , bit 008000 Out of frequency range in extended status word
will be active, but there will not be a warning in the display.
This alarm is not a trip and must not lead to change nor modification on
the chiller. This is a normal operation code when the chiller is operating at
full load or full unloaded.
This may help?
It would be nice to think so!
Good Luck Grizzly
