5H60 Oil Pressure: Loading/Unloading
CARRIER has a table in the Installation-Start Up and Service Instructions manual indicating oil pressure ranges for loading and unloading. Would someone please explain that table?
(5H60 in this case).
Increasing to load = 20 (step 4), 23 (step 3), 26 (step 2), 30 (step 1),
Decreasing to unload = 19 (step 1), 16 (step 2), 12 (step 3), 9 (step 4) decreasing to unload.
Thanks!

Re: 5H60 Oil Pressure: Loading/Unloading
Not sure if this is relevant for adjustment but see unloader adjustment.
It is just referring to when unloaders on each head active or deactivate in PSI (pressure) increments.

Re: 5H60 Oil Pressure: Loading/Unloading
Hi like ranger says, when it loads up you loose oil pressure, but when the loading cylinders are full of oil, then the oil pressure comes up to its original pressure, unless you have a leak in the pipeline or cyclinder gaskets are worn or the piston and oil leaks out slowly
