Daikin BRC1D528 Wired Remote Controller - Child Lock keys function

Hello all,

Does any one know if the Daikin controllers have a child lock function. They are constantly having the settings changed and we want to lock these down.

Any idea how to do this? Theres nothing in the manual. Its a BRC1D528.

IIRC you cannot lock the controller completely. If you change the access to Level 3 in the field settings , this will restrict the usage.
If you press and hold the fan button, the louvre button and the two far left hand buttons simultaneously this will also lock the controller.

Thank you for the reply, just to clarify...

Do I need to change the access to level 3 before doing the latter instructions? What does level 3 restrict access to? We also want to be able to set max min temps so that people are not putting to 16 or 30C.
