    Bitzer CSH series Screw

    Hey,

Im currently working on a Bitzer screw compressor CSH series. Im all new to screws, pls excuse if you find any mistakes here. I was actually looking for the oil filter in these compressors and from the diagram i assume the oil filter is actually inside the suction dome. And its written in the manual that its maintenance free. But i don't get the point, so every time i have to open the suction dome to replace the filter?

And yes i think there is a small strainer inside the Oil separator, does this filter has to be cleaned on an annual PPM schedule?

    Pls guide me through! thanks!

The oil filter is inside the compressor oil separator and is a big job in situ ,the oil filter should be ok because you have magnets at the bottom of separator to pick the metal debri, check if unloaders work then the filter is clean, and leave it till you do the bearing change
