York chiller YAEP Micro Control system program - Reprogram type of refrigerant to run

Hi,
I have the following problem. Kindly advise if anybody has expertize about the york systems.

Initially there was a power fluctuation, display went off, unit not running, try to reset but no use.
a) replaced the power board and display unit - problem not solved
b) replaced processor board with old eprom -same
c) revert the old board but replaced the battery from new board, keep the power ON for some hours.

Got the display back...but

I find factory settings require reprogramming. "Reprogram type of refrigerant to run"
when I try to enter through Keypad- 22 for R22, there is no response.

How I can reprogram the factory settings and what is the code for program?
controller - YAEP Micro based control system
unit - YAEP99WD9C50PA, China

i dont know of any codes but if it works like a trend controller once the battery is dead,the controller loses all data and you need a laptop to download the program into the controller again.if you are carefull and change the
battery while the power is on it saves the data.

In a low battery condition, the MANUAL OVERRIDE key
will zero out the daily schedule to allow unlimited
operation regardless of the time on the internal clock.
Default values will also be loaded into memory for all
setpoints and cutouts. These may require
reprogramming to assure they meet chiller operating
requirements. In addition, the low battery message
which is displayed for this condition will disappear.
If a power failure should again occur, the
above process will again need to be repeated
to bring the chiller back on line.
In the unlikely event the low battery message should
ever appear, it will require the RTC Chip U13 on the
Microprocessor Board (Refer to Logic Section) to be
replaced.

i faced this problem before, now you programe and then put password 7296 or 7396 then you can change the refrigerant

Yes Mr. Qasim, I totally agree with you. Use the given password and then reprogram the other parameters.
