    Daikin question???

Hi was woundering if anyone can help me with an issue I have with some vrv units.
Have 4 ducted indoor units off 1 BRC1D controler. The controler says unit 4 is AF. I know the fault is about the float switch. But is there a way to figure out which indoor is unit no 4 from the controler? Could save me a lot of pain trying to gain access to units that are not in fault. Thanks

    Re: Daikin question???

    Turn the units off.

Now use the settings code to run the individual unit fans one by one. . You can then identify which unit is which.

The AF fault shoud stop the unit so just look for the 1 without the fan running

As frank said. Also I think if you put it in code 43 it will run the indoor fan and you use the diamond button to go through the units. I haven't done this for a long time so might be wrong

I think the unit will hit high level. A few times be fore it. Sends out a fault.
any problems. With the drains or the trap? Just a thought .

    Re: Daikin question???

Went to site last nite to investigate fault. Trick with the forced fan worked great. Took unit apart and found a lot of sludge in the drip tray. Washed out all the crap and tested the pump all seems good now unit lifted water away out of the drip tray and down the drain. Hopefully that's all it was. Thanks for the help everyone hope to be able to help others on here if I can.
