    Auto Air Con

Is this the right area for auto air conditioning? Does anyone know anything about it?

Just bought a Jaguar X Type and the air con doesn't work. The compressor physically runs but is not pumping as the pressures aren't changing. It had no gas in system on arrival so I've charged it to the correct amount and no luck. Was hoping for a quick fix but looks like a new comp will be needed at the moment

First thing to do is pressure check these they are prone to condensors and pipes rotting out on inner wings .......how old is it some of newer ones run cluthless comps thus they always spin the front hub let me no age will check me books if it's clutchless u gas it without resetting ecu it won't pump

Ok so now the condenser is getting cold!? Whilst warm air is blowing out in cabin and yes it's set to cold. No pressure difference either side

Does compressor pump when you Rev it?

They are of the spiral variety internally and when run low on gas for a while it wears the seal them only works when you Rev it
