    dew point temps



    If I have R22 in a system and the suction pressure (psig) is 69 and the corresponding temperature is 40.30 and the superheat is 12.67, what would the dew point be?

    Dew and bubble point, in refrigerant which is not azeotropic, and r22 is not azeotropic, is equal to saturation temperature.

    Azeotropic refrigerant (like R407C) is mixture of refrigerants with different saturation temperatures at same pressure!

    In these mixtures, dew point and bubble point are different, and saturation temperature is at middle of these two points!

    That is necessary knowledge to accurately calculate superheat, subcooling and approaches!

    Superheat is related to Dew point
    Subcooling is related to Bubble point
    Aproaches are related to Saturation temperature

    R22 is non azeotropic and therefore Dew=Bubble=Saturation
