Daikin pcb
Can anyone help we have 2 ftxs 25 wall mounted units on a multi of 2mxs 50 only 6 months old a board was faulty on one indoor unit we change the board over and we are getting a code of u4 which is comication but now we have a problem the other unit does not work now we reset the power
This is strange

This is the most common fault code when installing new kit, something is wired incorrectly. As the two indoor units will be linked together, if something was wired wrong when changing the pcb you may have damaged the pcb in the other unit. Double check all the wiring and continuity between the two units.
I have seen poorly connected cables in crimps between linked units that have come loose when fiddling with the system and moving pipes/cables so check for that too. Wall mounted units are notoriously simple so the problem should be easy to find.Martin

Re: Daikin pcb
Maybe the wrong board was fitted? Is the unit with the new board the master? Have you tried running each on there own since changing the board? That will tell you if it is a comms problem between the two or from outside to in or if the other unit is at fault

Re: Daikin pcb
Do you have a isolator. For each indoor unit?
and switched your comms cable?
check colours on your 1,2,3 indoor to outdoor.
sadly checking things by swapping boards can be expensive.
good luck.

Re: Daikin pcb
If it says communication error check and clean each connector pins. There might be a loose connection. I am not sure if your unit can perform test for the input sensors, if it can check all input sensors.
