Emigrate to USA
Looking at moving to USA (no state yet) just after advice as to what qualifications I would need, any help would be appreciated. Also is it worth it good / bad points? Is it better to be employed or self employed ?
Cheers. Jon Jon

Re: Emigrate to USA
Find a state, then go on holiday close to it and look around my guess you would need to have two years salary as a fall back position, the grass it not always cleaner on the other side but if your youngish have a spirit of adventure and no ties here go for it.check with the US embassy for a start!

Re: Emigrate to USA
You will struggle to get a green card and without it you can't get residency.
As a non resident you are only allowed 90 days a year in the USA.
Check out the Embassy website http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/iv_type_list.html
If you get sponsored via employment you lose the green card if you lose/leave the job.
it's not an easy task unless you are rich
