Fujitsu split air conditioner unit Low side valve
I have a new Fujitsu split unit. It was low on the refrigerant. When I'm trying to remove the gauge I'm getting a strong refrigerant pressure. The low side valve is in shut position. It turned all the way off. Now I can't remove the gauge. Do you think I have defective low side valve.

Re: Fujitsu split air conditioner unit Low side valve
I really appreciate if you could give me some guideline. I assume I have defective nipple. But I don't know how to replace it. I have lots of pressure there. The refrigerant is 410A. As soon as I loosen the gauge hose adapter the refrigerant starts coming out under high pressure. If I still remove the hose adapter I'm running out of refrigerant.
Thanks,

There will always be pressure at the Schrader valve.
Use a quick connector in future.

with the valve closed the Schrader is open to the system close the valve on the expansion (liquid) line and pump the unit down to remove your gauge
