Indesit frost free freezer
I have a frost free freezer, fridge stopped cooling so used advice here and took off panel in freezer which was iced up. Have defrosted it and going t put panel back on, should fan etc work/kick in straight away and if not could it be broken? Also the drain hole seem to be in the freezer and people refer to an external one ? Is there another one?
Many thanks.

Re: Indesit frost free freezer
Hi deegee
First with the power off make sure the fan spins freely in the freezer.ea e the panel off and turn the power on. After about 6 minutes the fan and the compressor should start. At the bottom of the evaporator in the back panel their should be a drain hole that exits the rear of the cabinet through a tube, make sure this tube is clear for the defrost water to drain out into the pan on top of the compressor. If all ok refit the fan panel and have a cool beer
