    Denco D28AVH

    Good afternoon,

If possible some feedback is required regarding a double door (dark grey) Denco D28AVH close control air conditioning cabinet.

    Two compressors one common circuit.

Installed back in 2011, serving a server room via floor outlet grilles.

There was a reported fault over the weekend that the cabinet was making a loud noise.

On arrival this morning the reported noise seems to be none existent but after further investigation the suction pressure seems to be fluctuating. In general the cabinet seems to be working fine, achieving room set point with no obvious issues.

When fluctuating the below suction pressures happen -

Starts at 2 bar up to 4 bar then back down to 1.7 bar!

What possibilites could cause fluctuation in suction pressures?

    Feedback appreciated.

Hi, among the possiblities: haunting TXV, uneven heat rejection over air/water condenser due to uneven air/water flaw, flashing gas due to longer refrigerant piping.

d28a unit if on 407c should be 4.07kg charge, if on 410a then around 5kg charge- your operating suction press is low, check fridge circuit

The gas charge will depend entirely on the length of piperun, number of bends etc.

You might have a problem with the Expansion Valve? Its not common, but it can cause theses problems that you mentioned?

Luckily, you can pump the system down and just change the power head, so its not a massive job?

If you can get the CONTRACT NUMBER off the serial plate, I can see if it was one of my commissionings and dig out the paperwork for you?
