    Meaning of U V W in Inverter Compressor

    Can anybody explain the meaning of U V W Terminal in Inverter Compresor.

    I think is still the 3 voltage phases that feed the electrical motor...
    To make progress is never good enough, I want to do better and better and better

    The letters U, V, W, indicate the 3 phases in Europe. In the USA they are marked as L1, L2, L3.

    UVW = motor connections
    XYZ = generator connections

    Although different manufacturers use different letters etc. It's just to indicate 3 phase.
