    Carrier 50YQ048

    Hi,

We have a carrier 50YQ heat pump with a faulty stat, currently cooling the room to 50f blowing air at 40f! its a little chilly.

The wiring on the system are only labeled as R, W2, O, Y, G, E, C Can you still get stats for such a system and are the terminal identifications a standard?

    Thanks

I have trawled the Carrier website and have downloaded the manuel for this unit.
Which is listed as Obsolete, below is attached three pages with the wiring and thermostat details.
More importantly it gives the Carrier Part No for the stat.
Carrier may be able to help or advise??

Yes, those terminal references are still used by Carrier and also Honeywell I believe.
