Big Hall...... Wall-Mounts or Chilled Beam
I just wondered if anyone had any experience with aircon to a large hall.
I have been talking to a customer about installing 6 wall-mounted room units (10kW) to serve the hall which is 25x17x6m high. There is some existing vent ducting with gas heater, so this is just for the summer load.
With heating one would tend to go for a radiant heating system in this kind of scenario, and for cooling one might be thinking of a chilled beam (yes/no?). Has anyone had experience installing chilled beams in this kind of hall?

Can a dx coil be installed into the ductwork? Or a chilled water coil...

Re: Big Hall...... Wall-Mounts or Chilled Beam
I took a brief look at that idea but it seemed unreal due to the tight plant install in room beside the hall.
I will have another look at this when I go there again and see if some clever ideas might solve that scheme.
In the hall, they can't hang anything from the roof, which means everything has to go on the perimeter (where the ducting is). Even chilled beam/s would be tricky with those restrictions, I guess.
