1. I do not know that answer, but for sure someone from your area can give you some advice
2. in my opinion NOT ... there is always risk with second hand equipment ..
3. probably yes
TIP: order a new receiver from good and known manufacturer ... the best and free advice ... receivers are not very expensive todays ...

Re: ammonia reciever tanks
Second hand vessels are not usually thick on the ground. If you find one check all the certificates and test papers. Then have it inspected and have paper work re-allocated to your site. Time consuming and expensive, mainly time.
In effect it is cheaper to get one built to your specification, with all the paper work included

Re: ammonia reciever tanks
Hi Amper
There are plenty of good suppliers of vessels both new and second hand. My concern though is that just by asking these questions I think you are getting in above your capabilities.
The replacement vessel will need to be compatible with your current plant and then you will have to contact your insurance provider for replacement and acceptance onto your scheme.
The work involved with replacement of the receiver will have to be carried out by specialist contractors.I love the smell of Ammonia in the morning!
