    Question Trane air to water

    Trane RTAD125

I have replaced HP transducer (as quoted by previous technitian). The display is still showing cond pressure at 17bar higher than actual. I don't believe there is another HP sensor? Can this be re calibrated in software? Does anybody know??

    Re: Trane air to water

The transducer, on top of oil separator, is only for fan control/Variable speed drive. The display HP is actually a temperature sensor situated about a 1/3rd of the way down the relevant condenser coil. This sensor is direct immersion and not possible to change without full recovery of refrigerant charge!! Or if you brave run all fans flat out on a cold day, wear gloves and goggles and work FAST!!! You will need to order a sensor and Olive connector. Good luck!
