    Help with York air conditioner.

I have a problem with a 47000 BTU/hr York split type air conditioner R407 C ,which has a damaged orifice type of metering device but I cant find it in my country ,so I decided to replace it with TEV but I just foud TEV for R22 of the same capacity ,will it work properly with R407 C if I replace it?

It can work, but consider that the sensitive liquid in the bulb has a different expansion coefficient for R22 and for R407c. I think you will be able to let it work nonetheless.

Try to visit heatcraft refrigeration site
you will find heat calculation sample sheets, get familar and put your required data to calculate total btu heat for a room, in fact this is for low temp but you can get an idea that how to calculate it.
