Sealing pipe entry into wall
Hi,
Thanks to the chaps on here I am just finishing off after having a unit installed.
Daft question - is the common approach to just use some PU foam to seal the pipe entry through an external wall. Aesthetics won't be an issue as the pipes are in trunking outside, just need something to close the air gap.
Many thanks,
Damian

Yes,
Self expanding foam would be the most common way for larger gaps, silicone sealant for smaller ones or even to seal the foam with.

as said expanding foam will be sufficient- as cement can compress the lagging and the lime can rot any exposed copper
