Hi Condenser Differential Pressure
Pls help everyone, ASAP,
We have two chillers here, the other one is ok, but the other one I think is getting bad.
This RTWD trane chiller's condenser differential pressure reading in Circuit #1 is higher than circuit #2.
Chiller 1
Condenser Differential Pressure circuit 1: 102.5 PSID
Approach temp. : 18.8F
Condenser differential Pressure circuit 2: 96.5 psid
Approach temp. : 15.9F
The other chiller is OK and they are both newly cleaned and the chiller's condenser approach temp emediately rises. I really wonder why.
Pls help..thank you...

Re: Hi Condenser Differential Pressure
You don't say what DP gas pressure or water pressure
Either way though it don't sound right
Are you talking about the evaporator ?
A lot more info needed including all running pressures and temps for both gas and water circuitsIf the World did not Suck, We would all fall off !

Re: Hi Condenser Differential Pressure
OK,
First things first, you talking about less than 5% differential, this is well within the spec of the heat exchangers.
Your problem is likely to lay within the refrigerant circuit.
Time to call an engineer out to look at them.
