Hi guys
im live till now
i found on this
in Samsung air conditioner site
the specification for 2400 unit

Cooling
15 ~ 52°C
i think low ambient temperature means cold area
and hi ambient mean
hot area
so how its low ambient cooling and it works in extreme condition to 52 C
Power consists not in being able to strike another but in being able to control oneself when anger arises

Re: Low Ambient Cooling question ???
.
Temperature difference!
AC work at about +20 if the ambient is lower than
the temperature in the room to be cooled, you have no
temperature difference.

Re: Low Ambient Cooling question ???
If you are referring at low ambient as described here in these specifications:
http://www.samsung.com/global/busine...SFNBWKNET-spec
than it mean that cooling of indoor air is possible even at outdoor low temperature as -10°C.

Re: Low Ambient Cooling question ???
Can you post link to that site?
Probably it is typo. Low ambient usually mean for outdoor temperatures below 0°C (or maybe 10°C)Last edited by nike123; 02-11-2014 at 09:25 AM.

Re: Low Ambient Cooling question ???
Most of AC units normally run at 15°C outdoor. There is noting "low ambient" about that.
Some AC unit cannot cool below 18°C or 16°C indoor. That is limiting factor because of evaporator TD. If it is lower than that, it would require indoor coil defrosting function.
Units with no condensation control (outdoor fan speed control) can have some problem at outdoor temperatures below 20°C because of low condensation pressure. Effect is lowered cooling capacity!Last edited by nike123; 02-11-2014 at 09:23 AM.

Re: Low Ambient Cooling question ???
As I investigate further i found that that unit is of non-inverter type and with UTR compressor.

That should be good choice for your enviroment.
Why would you need cooling for ambient below 15°C?
